Yuichiro Katsumoto
Japan (JP)
Yuichiro Katsumoto is an artist and educator based in Saitama, Japan. He experiments with manipulating linear objects such as strings, strips, and springs to display letters and pictures. We humans have created art by writing and painting. It can be said that we have compressed our expressions into two dimensions by lines. He therefore seeks to decompress those lines into physical space, and display kinetic typographies and motion graphics using linear objects. He trained in video production, physical computing, and design thinking at Keio University SFC. He received a Ph.D. in 2010 and worked as a researcher at the National University of Singapore. He returned to Japan in 2018 and has been teaching design and practicing art at Tokyo Denki University since 2019.

Yuechen Guan, also known as Zona. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts(SVA) with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Design, and studying for a Master of Professional Studies in Digital Photography at SVA. She would prefer to see herself as an interdisciplinary designer who makes crafts, fashion, jewelry, and graphic designs; and a photographer who can do conceptual, editorial, fine art, landscape photography, and portraiture. She developed her love for making art through years of exposure to art. She never limits herself, and she is open to cooperating with different fields' techniques and materials to make a good idea great.

Naseer was passionate about art from a young age. He was a caricature artist for a long period of his life. Win mani prizes in that field, and worked for a newspaper as a caricature artist for 2 years. 2006 he discovered his interest in photography. Since then, Naseer didn’t stop developing himself. He win many awards in photography, nationally and internationally. He sees photography as a way to discover humanity, the reason he specialized in portrait photography. As art is all about emotions according to Naseer, he thinks that art should unite us, since it speaks the language that makes us humans.

Klaus enjoys working with reclaimed home grown timber, wood which has already ended their active life and in that way no harm to living trees is done. Using what nature provides and giving it a second life as an art piece is very rewarding. He lets wood speak for itself, and when suitable applies texture and/or color to it. The Shape is the most important element in his work, as it is what the eye will first react to. Haptic follows, if both the elements are in harmony, he feels happy.

Pang Swee Tuan is a Singapore Ceramic artist who has been practicing ceramic fine arts since 1990. A diverse ceramic artist, his works draw inspiration from historic oriental elements to the interesting forms of corals. Besides being an artist, he teaches in multiple local schools, seeking to impart the love and appreciation of ceramic to the next generation. Pang Swee Tuan had his first solo exhibition in 2013. Beyond Singapore, he has exhibited his works in USA, Croatia, Belgium, Italy, Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Macau and China.
